• Morning Work – Use the answer key in the Class story to correct yesterday’s morning work.  (If you can find the mistake in the answer key, send a note to your teacher through Dojo showing your work with the correct answer.  You can earn an extra Dojo point!)  Complete week 6 Tuesday math morning work.

• ELA – Login to Clever and go to Newsela.  Find and read the assigned article “The Abolitionist: Frederick Douglas”.  Follow all the teacher directions attached to the assignment in Newsela. Remember to send a photo of your timeline.

• Math – Watch the video https://youtu.be/e9ld1-K6boI about multiplying a whole number and unit fraction.  Then turn to page 613-614 in your math book.  Read these pages and complete the examples.  Independently complete p. 615 and upload to Dojo.  Work in Dreambox or First in Math for at least 15 minutes.

Morning Work – Complete the morning work by using the qr code (located below) in your class story. Check yesterday’s morning work posted in Class Story.

Math – Volume 2 page 611-612. Take a picture of p. 612 and upload it to Dojo. Log into Dreambox or First in Math and work in the program for at least 15 minutes.

Social Studies – Complete the WebQuest on Elizabeth Cady Stanton in One Note. Extension: Studies Weekly week 23. Read “Abolitionists Build an Underground Railroad” and answer questions at the bottom of the page. Read “What role did American Indians Play in the Underground Railroad?” Answer the questions at the bottom of the page.

• Math – Read and follow the directions on pages 607-608 in your Volume 2 Math workbook.  Complete page 609 and upload a photo of it to Class Dojo.  (You might need to tear the page out to take a picture.)  Work on either DreamBox or First in Math for 15 minutes. 
• Social Studies – Sojourner Truth WebQuest in One Note.

Math – Complete lesson 23 in Zearn.org.   Take a picture of the exit ticket and upload it into your portfolio on Class Dojo. Show your work on the exit ticket, so your teacher can see your math thinking.  (Note:  In Zearn, you must complete all activities in the previous lesson to advance to the next.)

Social Studies – Read “Celebrated Abolitionists of the 1800s”.  Complete the “Famous Abolitionists” worksheet in One Note.  This will be located in your One Note Social Studies folder.

AC ELA – Lessons and handouts are in your Stewart AC ELA 2019-2020 OneNote Class Notebook.  Optional Daily Mind Builder:  JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED.  (Check the answers to yesterday’s Mind Builder.) 
Poetry:  Read “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” several times and complete Poetry 3-17-2020 questions.  Check yesterday’s feedback on Poetry 3-16-2020, and revise/complete your Imagism poem.
AC Math – Complete lesson 2 in Zearn.org.  Take a picture of the exit ticket and upload it into your portfolio on Class Dojo. Complete 1 section (half sheet) of the March challenge packet.
Log into Clever.  Go to Dreambox and work in the program for at least 15 minutes.

First Day of Online

   Dojo seems to be down again. I wanted to check in with everyone.You and the students hung in there with all our tech obstacles. I hope that tomorrow will be easier.
