I just received this email.

Information regarding Office 365 and Google Chrome:

Google Chrome browser has released a new version (80) which has classified Office 365 as malicious website.  You may see the following error when attempting to access Office 365:

We are currently working with Google to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.

Action Required:

1. Launch Microsoft Edge browser
2. In the URL address bar, type in: Office365.Cobbk12.org

We will notify you once this issue is resolved.

Dojo problem

Welcome to technology! The Dojo site must be overwhelmed because it keeps shutting down. If you don't get a response from me , this is why. I will continue to refresh and try again. Thank you for your patience!!!

Week 3-16 assignments

Please note that Social Studies is also our reading task for the day. We're trying to make this as easy as possible for our students.

Monday 3/16 

• Math – Complete lesson 22 in Zearn.org. Take a picture of the exit ticket and upload it into your portfolio on Class Dojo. 

Log into Clever.  Go to Dreambox and work in the program for at least 15 minutes. 

• Social Studies – Log into Clever.  Go to Studies Weekly week 23.  Read “Abolitionists Fight for Freedom”.  Answer the 3 questions at the bottom of the page. Watch the video of “Henry’s Freedom Box”.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6rf9bxDK1o

• AC ELA – Lessons and handouts are in your Stewart AC ELA 2019-2020 OneNote Class Notebook.  Optional Daily Mind Builder:  BENNY WAS ALWAYS 39 YEARS OLD.  Poetry:  Read “The Red Wheelbarrow” several times and complete Poetry 3-16-2020 questions.  Begin your Imagism poem.

Last week of 3rd quarter

Students need to study their unit 6 vocabulary cards. There will be an in class grade on Tuesday. The test will be given on Friday. We will finalize our narrative essay by Friday.

Wednesday students will take the end of unit test for mythology. Students were told to review all the passages we've discussed. They should also be reading the allusion anchor chart in their journal. Please remind your child if you notice that he/she has not.

March is Here

We will begin vocabulary unit 6 . Students need to study their cards nightly.
Thursday there will be an in class grade on run- ons & fragments.
Friday the students will read a mythology passage and answer comprehension questions. This will be taken as a secondary grade.
Students are independently reading fantasy books or mythology books. This will help build their understanding of developing their narrative essay.
